Your data is stored using Google Firebase, which is subject to Google's privacy policies. Recordings are stored in Firebase Storage and metadata in Firestore. Both are protected by Firebase Authentication — only authenticated members of your club can access your reactions.

You retain ownership of any recordings you upload. By uploading, you grant Chapter & Verse a limited license to store and share that content with the members of your book club. You can delete your content at any time.
When you invite someone to a club, they will be able to hear or watch your reactions for chapters where you have both recorded. You are responsible for only inviting people you know and trust.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Deleting your account permanently removes all your data including recordings, club memberships, and profile. This cannot be undone.
